Midland Rotary
Who We Are
“I want to extend a warm welcome to all who are interested in making a positive impact in our community and beyond. Rotary is a global network of individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the world, and our local club is no exception. By joining the Midland Noon Rotary Club, you will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for service. Through our club's various initiatives, we work together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water (including sanitation and hygiene), support mothers and children (with nutrition, education and sanitation), support education, grow local economies, and protect the environment.
But Rotary is more than just a platform for service. It is a community of individuals who come together to make a difference, while also building meaningful connections and friendships. By joining our club, you will have the opportunity to expand your network of friends and colleagues, while also making a positive impact in the world.
I invite you to attend one of our weekly meetings, held every Thursday at noon at the Midland Country Club, to learn more about our club and how you can get involved.” – Christian Velasquez, Rotary Club of Midland President

Who We Serve
For more than 110 years, Rotary International has championed peace, fought illiteracy and poverty, promoted clean water and sanitation, and fought disease. Our local chapter supports these global initiatives, as well as community initiatives including grants, scholarships, fund raising and economic development projects. Midland Rotary members come together to make lasting change locally and around the world.

Our History
Midland Rotary was founded in 1920 by 26 charter members on a mission to make lasting change both globally and here in our local community. We’re proud to be celebrating 100 years of positive impact and invite you to contribute any materials you may have to our collection of club history. You can email any materials or information to Tawny Nelb. Tawny at tawnynelb@gmail.com.
In the meantime, learn about the first 75 years of our club history in The Midland Log, a document created by the Midland Historical Society of the Midland Center for the Arts, Inc.
